MiniMUN Week 11
What: MiniMUN Week 11
When: Thursday 19th May, 4-6pm
Where: Quad 1001
_____________________________________________________________________
The recent death of Osama Bin Laden at the hands of the United States of America has raised numerous legal and political questions as to the implications of counterterrorism within the international system. This week's MiniMUN offers you the chance to take hold of the issue that is on everybody's lips, and consider an underlying quandary - how best to reconcile the apparent discrepancy between human rights and counterterrorism. As always, UN Society MiniMUNs are the best place to get involved in diplomacy and international relations, whether you're a beginner or a veteran of Model United Nations.
The MiniMUN will be followed by dinner in Kensington for any who want to get the opportunity to know some of your fellow members of the society better! Especially, to meet those who are going to AMUNC this year...
